Blogmas Day 2: Festive days out in England

Festive days out in the England!

Welcome to Blogmas Day Two! I wanted to share with you all some festive days out that can be found in England! I really love Christmas, so anything festive is right up my street, it just gets me even more in the Christmas spirit, as well as spending some quality time with my loved ones.

So lets get started..

Winter Wonderland is held in Hyde Park, London. It has over 200 stalls, selling unique little gifts, food and drink. It is free entry to get inside, but everything inside charges, these tickets can be brought online. There is also a circus, a magical ice kingdom, big wheel and ice skating. For more information on Winter Wonderland, click here as i have done a full review of my experience.

Christmas Markets if you click on the link, it will take you to a page where you can find a Christmas Market near you. I adore wandering around Christmas Markets, there is something so Christmassy and festive about it. Even though you will be freezing and walking like a snail because there will be so many people! It is all part of the experience. Generally you will find, food, drink, unique gifts, rides and some have been known to let off fireworks!

Festival of light at Longleat is great fun for all the family. It opens from 12th December until the 4th January. It is held at Longleats safari park, and they also offer a winter drive-through of the safari. Everyone must have seen the Polar Express, right? (If not, then you are seriously missing out) This little Santa Express train really reminds me of the film. The Santa Express train takes you through a woodland grotto where the children (and adults) get a chance to meet Santa! There is also a real outside ice rink, from the picture it looks pretty magical. There is 30 acres of illuminations at the display featuring Chinese lanterns, and it is the first of its kind in Europe!

Lapland UK, am i the only 23 year old to get excited about the fact there is a UK version of Lapland? Possibly. Lapland UK opened in 2006, by a Husband and Wife who thought the UK needed more of a magical Christmas Experience. Once you book to go to Lapland UK, a letter will be sent to your child from Santa, inviting them to help at Lapland. They will get to help in the toy workshop and meet Santa's reindeers and husky dogs, ice skating and much more.

Is there any festive day out you would recommend?
